For this project we were given 3 poems and chose 1 that we would design a poster for. The poem I chose was Exchange, that focused on a boy who was taken from his mother to Jail. The poem focuses on the good times before the boy was taken to jail and how the Mother misses her son and would do anything to get him back. The poster as a whole has a vintage feel using things that are referenced in the poem in both literal and figurative ways.
