For this project I chose to design a book cover for the famous couple Kate Moss and Johnny Depp. The goal was to represent them using metaphors and associating the characteristics of their relationship with inanimate objects, in a meaningful way. Using pills, a cigarette, and bottle of alcohol I chose to highlight the hard times both Johnny and Kate have gone through with substance abuse. The purse symbolizes Kate and her career as a model and being in the fashion industry. The colors orange,black, and white work very well together and create good contrast and interest to the overall piece. I used a font named Sage because it represents the lavish and elegant life both Kate and Johnny live in.
